Pure Mortals and Objects of Power
« on: December 01, 2012, 07:50:28 PM »
OK, my campaign is finally starting to gear up towards starting and one of my players is making a Pure Mortal. Question I have for all of you though is, can he take an Object of Power and still keep the Pure Mortal bonus or does taking an IOP make the character not a Pure MOrtal anymore? Thanks

Item of Power means you're not Pure Mortal anymore.

If you've spent refresh on things other than stunts, then you lose the Pure Mortal bonus.

Edit: a Pure Mortal can, however, take temporary possession of an IoP, paying some number of FPs per scene, without sacrificing those 2 bonus refresh

Even Chaotic Neutral individuals have to apologize sometimes. But at least we don't have to mean it.
