Hello my fellow Dresdenites. I was looking to design a different flavor of EoP and came up with the Graywalker. I wrote up the Sponsored Magic (Sanction of the Ferryman) and an IoP: The Mantle of Charon. My GM looked them over and signed off on them, but I thought I'd put them up and see what the rest of you thought. Constructive feed back is always welcome.
Sanction of the Ferryman -4
Description: Acting on behalf of the mythical Ferryman of the Underworld has it's privileges, and this power is one of them. Those who wield it are as feared and implacable as their sponsor.
Sponsor: Charon, the Ferryman of the Underworld
Agenda: Charon ferries the spirits of the departed to the next world and takes it as a personal affront when they try to avoid him and deny their fate. Graywalkers (as his agents are called) are charged with dispersing ghosts and wraiths, slaying those who feed on the deaths of others and would desecrate the dead such as vampires and necromancers and to ensure that those who seek to avoid their fate, meet their appointed end. All must pay the ferryman.
Evocation: The Sanction utilizes the powers of Spirit to veil, slip between the world of the living and the dead and to strike at those who defile the dead or defy the fate of all that live.
Thaumaturgy: The Sanction can be used to seek out the Walker's targets and curse those who have defied Death's design.
Evothaum: The Sanction allows the caster to use Ectomancy rituals with the speed and methods of Evocation.
Extra Benefits: Gain the Minor Ability: Ghost Speaker [-1]
Mantle of Charon [-4]
Description: The Mantle is granted to those chosen by Charon to act as his agents.
Musts: You must have an aspect related to your possession of this item.
Skills Affected: Intimidation, Endurance, Contacts, Discipline, Conviction
Effects:
[-0] Purpose: The Mantle grants Charon's agents the power to act on his behalf. Only those to whom it is given may use it's powers
[-0] It Is What It Is: Changing appearance to match the wearer's era, this is a cloak, cape or long coat made of an uncertain fabric. It is a gray so dark as to be nearly black and always fits the wearer as if tailored.
[-0] Unbreakable: The Mantle can not be destroyed save by a ritual designed to subvert it's nature and purpose backed by power equal or greater to that of Charon.
[+2] One-Time Discount: The Mantle is outerwear and as such is hard to conceal. It will cause the living to feel a momentary chill and is instantly recognized by the dead.
[-4] Sponsored Magic: Sanction of the Ferryman
[-4] Supernatural Recovery
[+2] The Catch is Wood Weapons
