That is an eminently doable trek for me! Can't wait to find out when so it can be scheduled in.

Nothing in the vicinity of Seattle, WA or Vancouver, Canada? :(

Not this year!  The new events (which I need to wait another two days to announce formally) will be in Houston, Baltimore, and Wichita.

I suppose it was too much to hope for. He was in Seattle last year, so...

Ah well. Thanks, Priscellie!

I may have to make the drive down to Wichita to see him again.

Well. My ladyfriend would very much like to know when the Maryland appearance is. When is everything being announce? She has been emphatic in her queries about this issue.

Looks like the announcement will be made Friday afternoon!

Also, Jim is in the process of adding TWO MORE cities to the list I recently gave, which are GUARANTEED to send a chorus of squees echoing throughout the land!  It'll probably be another month before I can announce those two, though.

All these appearances are great, but what about the Maryland appearance you were teasing with?

Jim's assistant informed me that the Maryland con wants to wait a bit longer to make the announcement.  It's in November, so don't worry about planning. :D

Jim will be a guest at Dragon*Con
Atlanta, GA
August 30 - September 2, 2013
http://www.dragoncon.org/

I made undignified squeeing noises and woke up my husband when I read this this morning... It means I have to work on the costume I have planned even harder.  You have no idea how thrilled I am at this - seriously, hearing that Jim is going to be in attendance has just made the trip and the convention worth it.

And I can't wait to hear the MD appearance date/location.  My neck of the woods, and during a bit of a lull in excitement in the year.  I have an idea of what it might be, but I could be completely wrong, as I am wont to be.

Ah, just realized there's an error in my above post.  There are currently TWO cons that can't be announced yet.  The one in Maryland and one other.
