Danka.  I actually created them a month ago, after really wanting to do an updated CD cover. There were a lot of questions at the time about CD updates (pre-CD-status-thread).  After doing one, I couldn't stop.

Very well done.  I loved the Molly Carpenter trilogy.

I know its April Fools, but who else kinda squeed or mansqueed at the Molly trilogy?

Hah, nice.  I especially liked the Molly ones.

Actually, I finished all of the others, and thought of a PG from Molly's POV.  Then that led to a GS Molly POV, and when I thought of "Laying Ghosts", I couldn't pass it up.     And there are certainly a lot of Molly-fans these days.

I'll admit that when I realized that this was an April Fools (about as I was reading the Molly covers) I got upset that there wouldn't be a Molly trilogy. We now have to convince Jim that Molly needs her own series.

yeah, I would have edited that one so that the guy had a staff and the girl would have blond hair.  But it didn't really fit with the cover-theme, so no-go.

I was also tempted to leave this original alone and just put title-work on it, and say it was Harry and Murphy.  But again, two people do not a cover make.

Nah, he'll be too busy for that.  We need to convince Shannon Butcher to do the Molly series.  I'm convinced any insights into the female psyche in TDF come from her.

How so?  I figure those shippers would love a development series of Molly without Harry, becoming someone more than she was as an apprentice.  Then Harry can come back from Knighting it, and find Molly the woman as opposed to Molly the apprentice/friend's daughter.

But I'm still a Susan shipper.  Well, er, not in her current condition though.  I just think Harry's had his loves.  Maybe one more.  But I do have a hard time picturing it being Molly.

You make a compelling case. Having Molly off learning her own ropes and coming back after a delay to become a potential love interest. That works.

I'm not a Molly shipper, I just like Molly as a character a lot more after GS than I did before. For a while I thought that meant that I was a shipper, but really I don't care if they get together, I just think that she's the second or third coolest character in the series. I would love to see more of her story.
