Can an enchanted item give the bearer the effects of a stunt ?

I am trying to design an enchanted item that would work like Dr. Who's ID.  It would look like whatever official badge/ ID he said it is.  Since I look at it as a forged set of papers I was wondering if an enchanted item could be made to give someone access to a stunt (in this case the forgery stunt for deceit) a number of times a day like a regular enchanted item.  How powerful (i.e. # of shifts) would a spell have to be to equate to a stunt?  Or would there be another way to do it better?

In the case of his Psychic Paper, I think that would be a Thaumaturgic Deceit check, or Craft(Forgery). Something along those lines. Such instead of an Aspect, it would be a Deceit check of 6 (or whatever you put into it).

Someone with Psychic Resistance can pay a Fate Point to Invoke the pertinent Aspect and get either a bonus or an automatic success at the roll.

If you wanted, you could make it a Thaumaturgic Maneuver to place the Aspect "My Papers Are In Order" which would be contested by the opponent's Discipline/whatever. That would just be as strong as the shifts you put into it (but you'd want no fewer than 3 shifts).

Dr Who psychic paper would just be a straight thaumaturgy roll replacement, you replace a deceit roll with the power of the enchanted items and you can do this as many times a session as you have uses a session.

Remember, you can spent 1 mental stress to activate an enchanted item again, if it's uses have been exceeded.

Their Lore RANK, not ROLL. Enchanted items have a static effect size equal to the creator's Lore score + whatever increases from extra slots, specializations, etc.

Right.  You don't roll the dice with magic results, such as those from Enchanted Items or Thaumaturgy.
