Seriously, though.  I never really understood why being in the matrix was so bad to begin with.  You're living your life and interacting with other people just the same as you would have otherwise.

The machines were feeding off of humans somehow, but it was never really clear that it was hurting those humans in any way.  Am I mistaken on ths point?

Functionally, it wouldn't be much of a difference.  Besides, we have no idea whether or not we're already living in some very large, very consistent illusion

I found it a very interesting game for me to play, given that it is a game where you harness the power of the sun to destroy hordes of undead that are trying to eat people and that you save the world in the process.  It's very therapeutic.  Al.  Ish.  Very therapeuticalish.  It lets me work out issues.  *nodnod*
