Yeah like a whole lot, to the point of nearly killing me. My sig used to have a warning about that but these quotes are better

id say cheap sepcial effects, but one can also argue nicely they may have been pointed 90 to the galactic plane, thus very very few stars

furthermore the enterprise was going warp in reverse at the time

and yes spock and bones were pretty close within the tos- they had known each other for around 10 years or so by the time of the first season?
