Yes, actually.  I'm in college, but I'm a bit older than the average student.  I left for a period of time, now I'm back to complete my undergraduate work.

Bye, Snowy!

Philosophy and political science.  Two fields that are common paths to law school.

Heyyy...I'm looking at Law too. Environmental Law, but law nonetheless.

Bye!  Nice to meet you.

I'm not sure anymore, by the way.  But thata's the course of study I started, so I'm finishing it.

It's law..  There are a lot of interesting subsections.

I concentrated in public law for my poli-sci major.  My study primarily centered around the 14th amendment.

Jim Butcher made an appearance today.

He laid the smack down on a belligerent fan:

He was right on too. I'm glad it was him that laid the smackdown before one of us got fed up with that character.

There's no place on this forum for that kind of attitude.

Eh, it happens.  Shecky and I got into it over Scott Lynch in the past, but I think I was wayyy more diplomatic than that guy, and I was just expressing my frustration at a crappy situation rather than assailing the author.  We were able to come to an agreeable resolution.

Those characters are all over the internet.  I think we should count ourselves fortunate that we see so little of it here.

And yeah, Jim always does an excellent job when he has to educate someone  :D  He got angry..  I can't believe he used the word "goddamn".  That must have been quite a shck to the poster.  How often does the freaking author come down on you in a forum?!

EDIT:  I have been spending WAY too much time here, lately...  I think I'm in a slump.

*sigh* It was more common some years ago.

Jim was so great!!! His answer was brilliant!! But I am sad Pris locked the thread. I always dislike when that happens.
Missing you, Md
