upload the photo.
then, scroll your mouse pointer over it, and a small menu will appear in the top of the picture. There you'll have resize and edit.
When resizing, don't forget to click the "apply" button or your loose it. To copy the URL, use the "direct link", just as Don says for imageshack.

If you want to use a picture in a thread entry CWG you have to hit the little button under the B button above the various smileys.  That's the image button.  You then import the  URL from Photobucket and put it in between the two (img)  (img)

The following is what a URL looks like - It's one of mine but slightly wrong so that it will show up as text and not a picture.

A lot of people are currently more than a bit touchy about someone dying.
A8s little 8 year old brother lost a classmate.
A friend of Dina's lost a father.
Someone else's father is very sick and not expected to live.

yes that is the exsact pictur i have been trying to post and set as my avitar for the last half hour how did you do that i could not even get it to post let loune anything els?

okay i must have been coppying the url rong cues once i copied the one shown in the last post it worked
i still don't know why but i don't realy cear i got it to work 
okay we can talk about somthing els other than my lack of it skills and the fact that that took farther longer than it proberly should of

I found it, downloaded it, and uploaded it to my account.  Like I said, I hope that doesn't offend you.

1) Copy that link

2) Go to the "profile" button up top.

3) Highlight "modify profile" a menu will drop down.

4) Click "forum profile

5)Up top you will see "personalized picture".  Click "specify avatar by URL", and past the lnk I posted in that text box

6) At the bottom, click "change profile", and you should be good to go!
