Started working on a few things:


1. a new draft of my TV Pilot on Amazon Studios. Still no reviews or stars for it BTW. I still don't know if it's funny.  :(


Hopefully it will turn out funny.


2. reworking a NaNoWriMo project from last year about professional Dungeon Crawlers. My steam ran out on that project 25,000 words in because I never got a good ensemble cast for it that did everything it needed to. But I LOVE the setting. And the style I chose for it.

Through pass on chapters 1 to 8 of TIWTBWO; I think it needs compressing.  (Move chapter 2 to some first, merge chapters 1 and 3, report the content of chapter 4 in chapter 6, and merge chapter 5 into chapter 7.  I can see how to do all this but being exhausted and mildly ill is not a state in which to do so.)

153k - not sure if this will be the first 1k of the sneak peak or just tacked on as the 2nd potential stopping point.

Brother is doing the first copy edit and about half way through the book which means he's only edited about a third of the book since the 'sneak peak' chapters for this book were already edited before.  Regardless they were the roughest chapters, IMO.  so hopefully we'll be through that first pass within a week.

Then its time for the fine tooth comb.  What joy.

Up to 31.5 K now.  Been a good night.  A soggy middle scene wrote itself into an interesting fun scene while I watched.  Still don't really understand how that works.

Threw down 1100 words today and started throwing plot-threads together.  It's all falling into place just right.  I actually have a spy story going.  Assassins and criminals and madmen galore.
