I believe you actually did it right, the problem appears to be with the folder actually being full.

Checking with Iago on this.

It should be noted that Iago is out of town this week, however, and we may not get an answer til this weekend or early next week.

Is there something I'm missing, because you can post a picture without uploading it, right?

You have to wrap the URL to the image in [ img ] and [ /img ] without the spaces.

OR...  get a photobucket account, upload your images there, and then copy the link that is already pre-wrapped in those symbols.

Amber was saying that you can get a photobucket or other free image hosting account online. They allow you to upload pictures to thier server that you can view with a standard URL address. All you need to do at that point is copy the http://www.yourpictureurl.com/picturename.jpg link in your post, highlight that link and hit the Insert Image button above the text box when posting. That will display the image in your post.

My name is Jim, no need for the parenthesis :) I just don't use it much because on this board there is only one Jim. ;)

well I got the photobucket account and tried to put the picture on and got a red x.  Is the picture too big? Do you NOT use the image button above with the photobucket pictures?

Photobucket has a window that looks like this:

Click where I put the red arrow.  It automatically copies the tag to your clipboard.

If you go to a message window (or where you put your sig), and simply go to Edit>Paste, it copies the address, including the img tags to the post window.  Voila!  You're done.
