Signing at Midtown Comics Downtown in NYC 6/30
« on: June 28, 2011, 01:05:18 AM »
Jim will be signing at Midtown Comics' new Downtown location on Thursday, June 30th, from 4 to 6pm!  It's at 64 Fulton Street, at the corner of Fulton and Gold, convenient to the 2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, J, M, Z, and PATH lines.

Prisc, do you have access to my signup email?  If so, if you arn't taking and youtubing video yourself, could you possibly give that email addy to random people you see taking recordings of any Q&A sessions that ensue?

How very brave to have a signing this close to the release date of GS, though Jim's fans are mostly good sorts so it's likely also a great opportunity to share the excitement of that as well as some comics signing love.

Not really all that brave, just a matter of serendipitous timing. He was gonna be in town anyway, yada yada yada, signing.

Well, if you couldn't do that with your bulls***, Leonard, I suspect the lad's impervious.

Did that have anything to do with the signed Alera maps plugged in Prisc's sig?

Jim's visit this week certainly enabled me to do the Alera Map Virtual Signing, yes. :D

He's in town to support Shannon and his sister, Julie, at the Romance Writers of America conference.  Jim won't be participating in the con, as he's not a member, so he can't do a signing or participate in panels at the con itself.  However, because Jim is apparently incapable of taking a non-working vacation, he took Midtown Comics up on their offer to host a signing, independent of the convention!

I'll have maps for sale at the Midtown Comics event, and Jim and I will be happy to sign them.  I only have about 20 maps left, and I have no plans for a reprint, so this might be fans' last chance to buy one!
