Hunger Track Rules Clarification Please

Long story short, I have a couple PCs with Hunger tracks and the question just came up:

If I up my Discipline to 5 do I get an additional Mild "Hunger consequence" as well?

I know they get hunger stress track based on the same rules for all the other stress tracks, so my answer would be yes.
But I would appreciate any rules clarifications.

I think that they get an extra consequence. My opinion in this matter is backed up by the writeup of Vasiliki Lagios on page 372 of Your Story.

Yes they do.

General stress track rules apply. I see no reason to treat the Hunger track any differently than all the others.

I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some reason obvious to more seasoned DFRPGers that I was missing.
