Odd thought/question:  Are all the different human mythologies encompassed in the Nevernever?

That would account for Norse mythology rubbing shoulders with Christian mythology and Celtic mythology,
(click to show/hide)
, etc, etc.  Not to mention allowing for all kinds of different Scions of Power.

(For the sake of argument, lets just call what the DFRPG does with Christianity mythology.  I'm not posing this idea to start a religious debate.)

dresden has said that heaven & hell, or someplace resembling it likely exists somewhere way out in the nevernever, but that they are probably very distant from the mortal realm. he's said a few times that faerie is usually the closest. as to the rest Well, we met the folks at

myth and one of the margin scribbles in YS bob and billy(?) are talking about the swords of the cross and bob mentions that they areprobably capable of channeling the faith of all christian faiths.. and probably a few others given all that, even the stuff from the books alone, it stands to reason that most any mythological figure has some connection to a being somewhere in the nevernever... especially since faith has a power and simple belief/knowledge (as seen at the end of turncoat between harry and

)over the years, the simple faith might create some of the mythological deific beings

If I were trying to use a Spring and Autumn fae presence in a game without making too many ripples in the Summer/Winter idea already presented, I would make both of them underground movements. Spring is an underground movement based in Summer and Autumn is a similar movement in Winter. They'd be a kind of boogeyman or black ops group and would be dedicated to dealing with the other side in ways that neither wanted to particularly advertise. This would work especially well in games where the fae were more commonplace and you wanted to spice them up a bit.

The only sketchy part of it would be figuring out how to have them stand out a bit. Probably something like giving a particular oath to one of their rulers and not having other ties.
