Third Law Black Magic

How would you do Black Magic spells for manipulating people work in DFRPG?  Are they placing an aspect that can be freely tagged, similar to the Addictive Venom?

I'd say it is more likely you have to inflict a consequence or Take them Out in order to manipulate them later. No free tags besides the first either, unless you get a Power to augment it. The GM should actually be doing a number of the Compels on the afflicted, so you shouldn't have to pay much.

I think both approaches are valid.  The OP's idea would be for quick and dirty compulsion that might last a few minutes and then fade while the second option could either implant a more lasting compulsion by twisting or replacing one of the victim's existing aspects or creating a full-blown thrall by twisting their high concept.
