The Game in Play-By-Post / Play-By-Email Format

Hi folks--

Just wondering--for those familiar with the game, and particularly those familiar with PBP/PBEM format--what adjustments have helped make the game work in PBP/PBEM?  How do you handle Refresh?  How well would you say the game translates into this format?  What problems have you had?
