white court vampire 'genetics' (or how ever it works)

All I seem to be bringing at the moment is questions- sorry about that- but here is another for your considerations/ discussion:

I am a white court virgin (hypothetically)
I find true lover (ahh)
I become some kind of 'mortal'.

Me and my human love have a baby (Look it has my nose).

When it grows up, is the baby human or a WC-virgin?

I don't think it's covered, but I'm pretty sure the demon IS the 'white court vampire' effectively, that's the only difference between them and a human. If a white court virgin finds true love, it's possible that this removes the demon, meaning their children will be free from it.

There are no examples in the books of families started by cured White Court, so this is mostly guesswork.

which leads to question b.
Can some one 'gain' a White court demon after they are born? - say for example if said baby, captured and 'inducted' by their WC relatives decides they were cheated out of their inheritance and wants the demon back....

Since there had to be a 'first' to start the family line it follows that there must be a way to become a WCV.  What that is and whether or not a mortal could duplicate it is really a plot question.  Does it fit in your game?  How much trouble do you want it to be?  Darkhallow-style ritual or just a bargain with a demon?  Or perhaps its caused by a god's curse (Cain comes to mind).  What makes for the most interesting story in your game?

Yes, by thaumaturgy. You can theoretically do anything with Thaumaturgy.

Makes for an interesting moral dilemma for the wizard in question doesn't it?

Is is 'right' to 'gift' some one with a white court demon, even if by all rights they feel they should have been 'born that way' and this is really a cure for their unfortunately mortal condition?

The question was regarding the children of White Court Virgins, since I don't believe that anything about this particular circumstance has been established.  Would the offspring just be WC Virgins themselves, would the children be pure mortals, or would something else happen? 

I specified "other than lust" because lust feeders would either be full vamps or pure mortals after having sex, and thus could not have children as WC Virgins.  Other emotions, though, shouldn't have that problem.

I'd say that anyone with the White Court Taint would reproduce it in their kids.

So the only break in the family line would be for former (cured) White Court Virgins.  Their kids would be normal but anyone else's would be tainted...

But I'll admit I don't think this backed up anywhere in the books.  The WCV we know the most about are the "feed on Lust/killed by Love" ones and they can't have sex without being cured or becoming a full White Court Vampire.  Well, maybe one could be a sperm donor... but that would be pushing things.

Now I'm thinking about something completely different - a White Court plan to spread their numbers by being sperm donors... Which makes me think that the curse can't spread that way or they would have already done it.

Children of WCvs are also WCvs. And something was mentioned in Blood Rites that WCVs have difficulty conceiving, so the sperm bank idea might not pan out.

. I theorize that a fully informed Lust SCVirgin who knows what s/he is capable of doing has a chance to rein it in during sex and not automatically kill their partner.

I'm happy to be corrected by more specific examples though. That said, I'm forgetting what exactly happened with Inari

Which makes sense if you're a WCV. You gain power by having subordinates and if you tell your WCv offspring that there's an out and they might not have to be your little bootlicker for all eternity (or until you kill 'em) then they're much more likely to take said out.

So back to the original question. Given it states
" fight the reality of their genes."

Genes don't get changed by 'Falling in love' so that implies that even if you 'defeat' the proto-yet-to-kill-demon inside you as a WCVirgin, you must still pass that 'Genetic taint' on to your offspring so they would be WCVirgins too.

Maybe it is a 'genetic' susceptibility to possession which (for the raiths at least) kicks in when you loose the 'innocence' of virginity and allows the demon hanging around near the WCVirgin to enter and make the first kill when you are 'grooving in the afterglow'
A pre warned WCVirgin might not fall so far and so fast enough to let the demon in.
