New help finding group, share ideas

I am having trouble finding a DF RPG group in the area, any suggestion? Dublin, CA area

Well I personally am a heavey advocate of online gameing. If you're willing to run I know several people that are interested in playing over that format but have no GM, myself included.

what program would you use for online RPG like that? I try it years ago but the tech could not do it then and I never explore that option again

My personal gameing group uses a combination of Maptools for visuals and orienting ourselves with th enviorment and Skype voice chat for comunication. It works pretty well provided the group is good about letting eachother talk but I imagine that problem happens in Face to face groups as well.

Also, check at brick and mortar gaming stores. Isn't Oakland near there? Check out EndGame. (http://www.endgameoakland.com/) I believe they are very close with Evil Hat. Even if they don't have any games going on in-store, they would be a great resource for tracking one down.

Saedar has good advice.  Alternatively:

Find a spouse.*  Have 3+ kids asap.  Wait 10-14 years (you can possibly do things sooner).

It's easy!

PS.  Women have a strong advantage here; they need not find a spouse.

*Best not be someone else's.
