Yup!  Of course, the version I wore to the con is slightly different from the version available in the store.   In the store version, the "SplatterCon!!!" text is a different color from the shirt itself (making it more legible at a distance--good call, Fred), and it also has the fun "Property of Jim Butcher" text on the back.  Also, the store version is a lot more washer-safe than mine, as I hand-painted it using a homemade stencil. :D

For Daoine: I wasn't happy with the images of me in my costume at the Con, so here's one I took in my dorm, out of makeup:

I feel in desperate need to scrape together some money to buy me some shirt...

Priscellie, I still absolute adore your Molly-look. Can't get past that.

Yep.  About $5 per item sold goes to me, to help pay for my efforts to keep the site running, any hosting costs, yadda, yadda.  I do this all for "free", so the main way I build up a little cash to cover the expense is by cafe press, amazon referral, and other such programs.  Buying Jim's books and audio books by clicking through from the website store is also a way to support the site, in other words. :)

Bless your heart Fred. I had assumed this site was supported somehow by Jim and his publishers.  :-*

So, I'm thinking the website should add a couple t-shirts to its list of cafe press gear, and I'm thinking the best way to do that (as it imposes no art-need) is to zero in on maybe two or three quotes from the books.

...

Thoughts?
What about a shirt with a small nametag on the upper left-hand side?

"HELLO: MY NAME IS" in block lettering.

"an innocent bystander" in handwriting, appropriately placed.
"Do not injustice to another / Defend the weak and innocent / Let truth and honor always guide you / Let courage find a life within."

Many of the Tshirts described in the books are real.
I wish that I had known that.  I almost went mad pulling an all-nighter trying to make the "Easter's cancelled" graphic for the t-shirt for my costume back in February.

Unfortunately, I wound up not going to the convention because of the ice storm that hit Washington, DC.

Harry's Nametag
Rawlins' Nametag

I used Priscellie's SplatterCon logo, hope that's alright.  :-\

I'd much rather do that than have to deal with advertising (OMFG, Quiznoes squee girl popups...now that's evil but effective in getting people to either go away or cough up some cash to make the adds disappear).

I have a TIVO, and my way around the commercials is to wait until about 25 minutes into the show, and THEN start watching it.  When it comes to a commercial, I just fast forward, and by the time it gets to then end of the hour, I'm pretty much caught up with live TV, and I did not have to deal with the commercials.

Love it, but the Hello I Am is a bit hard to distinguish... Maybe a little heavier shadowing to the letters?

Fantastic idea Mack!   ;D
