On the other hand, I have a PC with Channeling who uses water, expressed as emotion (in my universe, emotions are most accessable via the element of water) who uses her musical skill to frame/cast - so for practical effect she is similar to a Welsh Bard in that she could (she hasn't actually used this yet) use her music to cause stress/damage expressed via demoralization aspects onto the opponents. Granted, initially I think this would play out as a maneuver, but I could also see it doing damage (i.e. look at the examples of social conflict where folks 'leave' and have been defeated by that).

I don't object to it because I don't think it makes sense. I object to it because I think it's broken. Wizards are powerful enough without letting them ignore Athletics, Endurance, armour, Toughness powers, Speed powers, Recovery powers, and all the other things that normally make a creature/character tough.

Oh, I saw those stat blocks. I just wasn't sure whether the stress was applied from the left or the right.

Anyway, I've edited the answer so that it's actually useful now. Thanks for your help.

Got a question: anyone with house rules they would like to share? I note that my world-creation was fairly aborted since most of the PC's do NOT want to know much about factions/faces - the consensus was that finding out who was what was so much of the fun that too much involvement really detracted. I don't necessarily object to this; I'm one of those GM's who overkills on NPC creation on reflex.
