I give Harry credit that he voluntarily sacrificed himself for his friends. He thought he was going to die and be done, as I read it, and he was willing to die to save the people he cared about (not unlike our Harry). Props to him for that. But the Snape/Lily creepfest grossed me out. Oh, he's so in love with her. No, he's not. He's a manipulative, controlling, stalker, who found someone who was more manipulative than he was (Dumbledore) who was able to twist him around and use him for something good. Also, I would have preferred Harry to have had to actually do something to defeat Voldemort. He won it on a technicality and it just seemed like a cop out to me. I like the first 4 books, not so much 5 & 6, and I re- read bits and pieces of them here and there, but I doubt I'll ever re-read book 7. In fact, can pretty much guarantee I won't. But that's just me.
