No if they know what they are getting into, and not forcing them to drink the 2nd law is not broken, as it is by there own freewill.

Unless they don't know what they are getting into, in which case good advertising prevents all 2nd law infractions.  ;D

Oompa Loompa, do-ba-dee-doo,

Let's talk about breaking magic law two.

Oompa Loompa, do-ba-dee-dee,

We don't really care about one or three.

Is it good to sell a potion to child?

One that turns man to a beast that is wild.

Would the Wardens really care,

If a kid had fur instead of hair?

Better have your affairs straight

Oompa Loompa do-ba-dee-da,

Don't test them and you will go far.

You will live in happiness too,

Like the oompa loompa do-ba-dee-doo.

Obviously, he explained all of this in the contract that they failed to read.  So, maybe he's in the clear.

If something out of the Nevernever - say a powerful faerie - is giving you a tour of his factory and tells you not to stray from the tour or eat or drink anything and you do... I mean the kids all agreed to the rules before the tour started so when they broke them they were breaking a deal with a faerie(or something else from the Nevernever) which put them in his power.

At the very least they were abusing his hospitality and thus opening themselves up to his retribution...
