What about "spooky" or "freaky?"

I'm suddenly reminded of back when I took comparative anatomy and my partner and I made necklaces out of cat vertebra to wear while we studied the skeletal system.

1:00-3:00 — Room 103 — Jim and Shannon Butcher Signing (three item limit per pass through line, last entrance to line at 2:15)  (Shannon may have to take off early for 2:00 panel)

2:00 — Board Room — Putting the Speculative in RomanceShannon Butcher, Pamlea Kinney aka Sapphire Phelan

Okay, got confirmation from Butch that this overlap of scheduling is correct.  Shannon will be breaking away from the signing after the first hour to go to her event.  He also said that if there are more people wanting her signature, they will set another time for her and announce it at the con.

Thanks for the update, Butch!

The absinthe is purchased, my friends. And it seems to be pretty good stuff, too!  MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Also, Chiro, I don't know about anyone other cat people on the board, but that is just horrifying. BLEAH!!!   :P

Absinthe?  (Go figure that a mind-altering substance would bring me back to the boards.  We'll see how long I can stay.)

It was a long dead cat.  We basically had a "skeleton in a box" thing to use for learning the bones.  The vertebrae were all strung together on twine so they would stay on order - we naturally couldn't resist hanging it around our necks.  Anatomy labs are a weird habitat.

Heh, I remember people in college bringing absinthe back from trips to the Czech Republic.  I never tried any, though.
