A question for the con:

I am an amature brewer who is always looking for new subjects tasters; would anyone be interested in trying some Oatmeal Stout or Blueberry Oatmeal Stout?  They were bottled in mid December.
I am also interested in trying a new beer or 2 or 3 or well you get the idea. Please bring some along if you feel inclined  :)

I thought I had mentioned to you that I had made this post in response to a few people announcing they owed Panesgrey beer:

I don't imbibe, but Mike (the +1 beside my name) brews his own and everyone who has had it really likes it so I'm betting he will be willing to bring some if there is an appropriate venue for someone to byob.

My husband brews, although he hasn't had a chance to do anyl ately.  I'm sure he'd love to try your brew.

I'll try anything once.  Maybe you can cure me of being exclusively a wine drinker.  :P

Awsome!  I'll bring 2-3 cases then.
Okay, I flipped the breaker, pulled the fuses, and blew up the transformer.

Lol, and lest anyone else thinks this is a bit much, it's normal behavior for him.  Just try to get the bottles back to him since he reuses them.

P.S.  I once asked him what his favorite beer was and he answered "free."  Upon further inquiry he ruminated about different seasons emphasizing different qualities about particular brews...  Being completely dry (for reasons similar to the ones Jim gives), I was a bit lost, but I found it impressive.

That image is probably not too far off. Though I'd put it more to the Mr. Burns finger steepling thingie.  Mainly cause I've actually seen her do that.
