It makes more sense in context. I can't say it makes perfect sense, at least not now. I'm sure eventually I'll off him.

By all rights I think my MC should be dead, but she's not.  I have no idea how I'm getting her out of the hell she's currently in, but durnit I intend to.

I pushed over 42K last night.  And I got her out without cross dressing ninjas.  Plot is rolling along nicely. :)

Well done, Tink.

And don't mind the cross-dressing ninjas thing.  My NaNo group had a guy say he'd give $10 to whoever worked in Cross-Dressing Ninjas.  Four of us instantly set about doing it.  Now I just have to finish the 50k to get paid.

That's funny.  I'm considering the traveling shovel of death, but I think I've killed off everyone I'm going to kill off...

My goal is to make that last 7700 words in the next 3 days.  I can doooo eeeeet!

I passed 42K last night, but these last few days have been somewhat of a struggle for me.  I do know what's going to happen now, but I think the possibility of not actually finishing the story by the end of the month has thrown up a mental block for me.  (I don't think I'll have any problem meeting the 50K quota, though.)

Passed 50K on the 22nd.

About 3/4ths of the plotline has been used, Should hit 100+K when the editing is done. Another one in the pipeline.

Regards,
Kevin

I won--passed 51K tonight and am on the home stretch!  I just have to finish up the big climactic fight and get in a handful more scenes to wrap everything up.  Haven't validated yet, though.

I'm a "lose" this year.  Not that upset about it; given what's been going on in my life, just walking around is one in the "win" column as far as I'm concerned. ;D  I've been writing the "OMG apocalypse!" part of my post-apocalyptic novel, even though my original intent was to write a story set 10 years later.  Still, I think I'll keep writing this.  It won't be what I submit, I don't think (assuming I ever do), but it's good to know.  I kind of like knowing what happened and exactly how, rather than just having this vague "Oh, this bunch of stuff happened" notion.
We don't get just one life.  We get as many as we can cram into one lifetime.
