I didn't!  I'm nowhere near it, in fact.  But with a 5k day yesterday, and a 2600 day today, I think I can catch up.  According to the NaNo stats page, at my current rate I'll finish on January 3rd.  I need to write 2253 words a day to finish on time.  Piece of cake, sez I!  I'm sitting at just under 10k.

Last year, I wrote 10k on the very first day.

My life is really in a very different place than it was last year...

Onward!

Climactic battle not quite finished, it is hard to kill personalities you have spent so much time developing....

28K and something.  Right now my protagonist has just woken up handcuffed back to back with a porn star in a sleazy hotel room, and assumes (rightly) that someone is trying to discredit him.  He's managed to knock the phone off its cradle, and is going to call...someone.

A sprint, a sprint, a veritable sprint.

Had a real good day, the drive was finishing the first story arc for the primary view point character. Two more arcs to go and I can start editing them together.

Regards,
Kevin

Made it over 30K.  This is getting tough.  My ADD is creeping in.

50k!!! *dances*

...too bad I'm nowhere near done. But considering I've been aiming for 100k this whole time, I think I'm making some good progress.  :)

Right now I am at 42140, about mid way through the second MC arc. After a whole arc demonizing the bad guys, I am now returning the favor for the people of the first story arc. I worry that I won’t have any credible bad guys. It seems to be a great method for consistency, as each story will be written from the POV of the central figure of that side. I just wonder how it is going to work once the arcs are braided together.

Regards,
Kevin
