Just got the book from the library last week.  I really enjoyed it - it had good intrigue and some humor, although I cried in several spots  :'(    I've actually read it twice, wanting to make sure I catch all the details.  I'm looking forward to seeing how the plot continues!

I'm probably going to put it on my christmas list. My mom will probably say "Succubus Blues? Is that porn?
Now I stand, the lion before the lambs... and they do not fear.

My mom asks the same thing.  ;D

Thanks for the nice words, everyone.  You make me blush whenever I stop by.  And I ain't saying a word about spoilers.

Thanks, guys.  I'm glad you've enjoyed it!

Liz, funny thing about the duster.  I've always loved them, and it seemed fitting for a guy who was into cowboy stuff...but my editor didn't know what one was!  So, I had to send her some links, and then I felt paranoid that certain younger readers might not know either, so now I explain it in the books.  Later, I put the heroine in a 'puffer coat'--which is a trendy fashion term for the puffy down-filled or sometimes quilted coats worn in winter.  The editors didn't know that one either, so this time I was like, "Fine, put her in a parka."

You know that kinda amazes me that she didn't know that either of those were...It can't be the first time that she has come across the words. Personally, I wouldn't be waiting for you to look up what they were for me, I would have looking myself..

Haven't read the book, but it is on the  "to read" list when I am done this year of grad school.  I do have to say, you can almost universally pick out role players by pointing at youngish men wearing dusters...

(I am a role player, that is not a knock or anything)
I have sought titles all my life and realized upon the achievment of each one that they mean precisely nothing. Of course, this never stops me from trying for the next one.

I am really an acquisitve little monkey at heart, no matter the outcome.

Just started reading the book, and while I usually steer clear of teen school novels, this one caught my attention, particularly since when I spotted it at the library, the author's name rang a very large bell in my brain. Then I came here and realized who'd written it. Cool! I semi-know the author. :: Waves in Richelle's direction::

Loving it so far: I'm only on the second chapter, but the attention to details is incredible and makes it seem all the more real, like you're right inside Rose's head.

Yeah, definitely TBR.  I just read the excerpt for Succubus Blues on your website, Richelle, and already I'm interested.  Nice work.

Well, I guess it's not too long till the next book.  I'll try to keep my impatience at a reasonable level.   :D

I think I mentioned in the Succubus Blues thread that I read Vampire Academy and loved it.  It bears repeating, though.   ;D  I'm past adolescence and very glad I didn't have near the problems that your characters do!

OK.  Just bought Succubus Blues.  (Waterstone's had two copies.  Two!)  Not very far into it, yet, but already I like it.  This bodes well.

I am still sitting the fence on getting this one or not... I loved Succubus Blues and I can't wait on the next one but I am torn on starting this wondering what it would be like..
