Found a copy of it today at Borders (they had 3). It's oversized and beautiful...Richelle, they must really like you.


Read the first few pages, and if the story holds up to the quality of the characters & dialogue, this is will be a great book.

Very, very good book!  Lots of fun to read!

Woah, woah! I had no clue that the author of Succubus Blues posted on these forums. Although I am new, I read the novel only days ago I think. It was great, especially for a first attempt.

Richelle, the shapechange thing...she shifts her heels into sandals and then takes them off. I take it she's affecting matter that touches her?
That's not her shifting her form into something that looks like shoes, but actually shifting her shoes?

Finished it last night.  What fun!  I loved the characters and humor.  A couple questions for Richelle, when you have the time:

What culture/time period do Georgina's flashbacks reference?  I was thinking Greece in the early Christian era, possibly 3rd or 4th century AD?

The story of Thetis and Peleus that Doug told at the very end reminds me of Tam Lin, albeit with a sex change.  Do you know if it is a variant, or possibly the original, of the Scottish ballad?  thanks,

Finally found it at my local store (last time I went to get it, they sold out.) Looking forward to reading it!

Picked this up on my way to vacation last week and read it on the beach.  Taking into consideration that I am often overly fond of books that I read on the beach, I throughly enjoyed this.  Hard to believe it's a first novel.  I liked Georgia right away, and like someone else on this thread said, the fact that she is a strong female without being a 'tough as nails bitch'.  The other characters were well-developed too.  All in all a good read.  Looking forward to the continuation.

Richelle, I'm around page 200, and I think I've figured alot of it out (I do that alot, you're not being obvious or anything), and if I'm right, you put this together exceedingly well.
