Getting in the Mood

Now that I've got your attention... does anyone have any ideas for movies to watch to get into the mood for Spirit of the Century?

Here's my list:

The Shadow
The Phantom
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Mummy
The Maltese Falcon
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow

My list would be everything you listed and then:

The Mummy Returns
all of the original Mummy Movies (all in one in the Universal Legacy Collection)
Universal Legacy Collection:  The Invisible Man
Doc Savage:  Man of Bronze
The Thin Man movies
Charlie Chan movies
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Oscar

The new King Kong has a great feel for the genre.
Sahara and National Treasure are both madern day but also have a great feel of adventure.
