Beaverton, OR
7:00 PM to 8:00 PM

And it was AWESOME!  Not only is Jim an amazing author, but he's a genuinely nice guy who's funny and a great story-teller.  This might seem like a given for an author, but good writing doesn't always translate into good people skills. 

In Jim's case, however, he's a riot!  The Q&A went by way too fast, and the minute or so you have to chat while he's signing your books isn't nearly enough.  Jim is totally the kind of guy you'd like to spend the evening with over beers, just talking and listening to his stories. 

I already loved Dresden and Codex Alera, but now I'm also a fan of Jim Butcher himself.  He's a pretty cool guy.   :)

Agreed...I had a blast...wish I could of hanged out long enought to talk with some of the other fans.

I agree. I think us Portland, Or fans need to get together and have a little pow-wow!

Any thoughts?
