Certainly poetic, and a bit ironic for a Norse-ish character.   Considering the origins of the phrase 'reap the whirlwind', it would be interesting when paired with the Spear.

Oh, dear.  The GM has informed me that taking 'Reap the Whirlwind' will most likely end up with my character killing a party member.  I like the meta-commentary of the aspect within the Dresdenverse, as an Old Testament phrase applied to a believer of the Norse practices who is trying to reclaim an artifact as a potent pagan symbol instead of a Christian artifact.  On the other hand, 'This Will Not Stand' is just as strong and a little more neutral.

Maybe words like Guardian, Defender or Crusader could work? Or concepts like Justice, Vigilance, Valour and Righteousness? i.e.

Righteous Warrior.
Vigilant Defender.
Just Guardian.
Virtuous Vigilante.
Noble Soldier.

Or something more abstract like:

'Justice guides me/my hand'
'Justice above all'
'Good always triumphs'
'Always follow the code'
'With great power comes great responsibility' - I couldn't resist :D

Killswitch
Destruction waiting silently behind the Eyes
There is a time for words... and a time for war...
The meekness of Galciers
Waiting eagerly for the day when Arry will enchant a fluorescent tube lamp and use it as a lightsaber.

Hmm, got something from Doctor Who:

The Oncoming Storm

Requires you to be totally awesome though.

Just as an aside, I think your GM is exercising a bit too much control over your aspects. Remember that under the RAW, he isn't the one who gets to decide what taken out means. Of course, how to diplomatically state this would be a challenging roll of your social skills....

Seems to me he's taking the aspect a bit to literal... You could easily change the aspect to "Sow the wind, reap the Storm". Thats basically the same, just not the common form the quote takes in english. (It's closer to the german version, which is "Wer den Wind sät, wird den Sturm ernten". In english "Who sows the wind, will reap the storm")
That would be without the element of "whirl" which i suppose is what made your GM say that there'd be collateral damage.

The following interpretation could then apply: that when people do something bad, they can expect you to reward them kind, just a lot harder.
Not that this interpretation needed to be explained here, i bet.*g*

So as long as your party members don't get rowdy... there'd be no reason to compel you to kill them.

I could also be totally off trying to deconstruct your GM's thinking though *g*

Quite possibly he's just one of those GMs that tries to find as many ways to punish/cause trouble to the players as possible.  Pretty common.

Could be he's misinterpreting how compels work.  Reap the Whirlwind should be used to make you attack/kill enemies after they've provoked you and you'd rather get information out of them or calm the situation down.  Also good for causing trouble in social situations.

Using it in some way to hurt/kill party members is insane.

It has something to do with the wording of a certain death curse that occurred in that game.

Ah, you do remember.  Would you be upset if I did end up taking it?
