True Faith.
If you have to ask, it probably breaks a Law of Magic.  You're just trying to get the Doom of Damocles.

The Evil Hat webstore has to be manually updated by Fred. Fred is currently at the DFRPG release at Origins, so many people will get the books before the store is updated.

Fred's twitter, 21 hours ago:
"Update from the warehouse is they have a few hundred shipped out, but this is out of a total of 1600; going as fast as they can."

So I don't know, let's say they're shipping ~400 orders a day. Gestimate that, then add in UPS shipping time from a factory in Navada to your house. Maybe give 24 hours for Murphy's Law and general unluckiness. It all ads up to one thing- TOO LONG.

To those who HAVE gotten their books in - how did they arrive?  UPS?  USPS?  DHL?

I swear Fred has mentioned UPS, but I really don't know...
For those who don't obsessively fallow Fred's twitter feed, little bit of bad news this morning
"So, Fedex delayed the refill shipment of packing material by 1 day. Bit of a hiccup for the warehouse, but they're back"

True Faith.

You know, unfortunately, now I read your posts in James Marster's voice for Michael.  I hope you are happy now.

I shall cross my fingers with you.  Does that count as thaumaturgy?

Yes.  :)

What shipping method was used?

Also, I'm super-jealous.

Anybody in northern CA get theirs yet?

I was strangely disappointed when I saw that UPS had made a delivery today (some history books I had ordered) but nothing from Evil Hat. :o

I know my preorder number is 415 - hopefully that means I'll see it Monday.

You are now my worst enemy.  Until my books arrive, of course...  ;)
