I dread to think about what the Archivy would be.  And its effects.

I have a feeling it would have to contain Absythe.

I think we'll need to get this thread (and any other which contains such things as recipes) moved to a more permanent place if we want to hang onto them.

I wonder if there would be a possibility of creating a 'Library' sub forum where we could put threads like this.  Remove the general comments, but keep the information.

Good idea Wiz. Someone should drop that suggestion in the suggestion forum.

Well we can always ask the barkeep.  I think HE should have some ability.  Right?

How about "Dead Man Floating"

Strawberries with top leaves.
Kiwi (leave skin on)
Southern Comfort
Kahlua
small scoop of Vanilla Ice cream
Cloves an crushed cinimon sticks for garnish

Proportions unimportant, mix to your taste.
Blend strawberies and Kiwi, leave the skin on the Kiwi. It gives the drink "hair"
Add the alchohol
scoop in the icecream and garnish with cloves and cinimon sticks.

It looks like something you just dragged out of the lake, but oh it tastes so good.

I think the Long Island Iced Green Tea is a bit Archivy for me... It sure makes you forget about everything you knew...

1 measure rum
1 measure triple sec
1 measure vodka
1 measure gin
1/2 measure absinthe
juice of 1 small lemon

Combine ingredients over ice, shake and serve in a tall glass over ice. Add a dash of coke and garnish with a lemon slice.

Ebenezer:
1 shot vodka
1 shot Southen Comfort
2 shot tequila

Put in a tall glass, fill with ice. Place a circle of lime over the top, and suck the mis through.

So called because when it hits you, you go down. And stay down.

Although that could be due to it being a quadruple...

That reminds me of GOB and his Forget-Me-Nots on Arrested Development.

"They're pills that create a sort of temporary forgettingness.
So if somebody finds out how you do a trick, you just give
'em one of these, and they forget the whole thing. It's a
mainstay of the magician's toolkit, like how clowns always have
a rag soaked in ether. "

And NOW I'm imagining GOB hitting on Ivy.  Ew.
