DFRPG over Skype anyone?
« on: June 06, 2010, 02:26:19 AM »
I have become EXTREMELY interested in this game and would love to play over the net in real time using Skype and any other tools you all might want to include.  Are any of you possibly interested in setting this up? I'd rather play than GM but if the need arises, I could GM if needed.  I have decades of pen & paper RPG experience and have always wanted to play in an urban fantasy RPG setting or lately, in the Dresden universe itself.

Any interest out there?

I have interest, but don't have the books/pdf, intend on getting them just being very lazy about it.

I have been looking into this.

Recently found Fantasy Grounds II with a Dresden Files Mod and Character sheet.
Also has fudge dice coded in.

I can see that software with skype leading to fun internet RPG groups.

Most interested. My wife and I would be interested if you run. I sent you an email.

I'd be interested, but my schedule can be hard to work with...  So I guess it depends on when you were thinking of running it?

I have a player that joins via Skype.  I use OpenRPG for the dice roller and some chat.  Best of all it is free.  It doesn’t have Fudge dice, but rolling 3d6 worked fine when we played Spirit of the Century.

What schedule are you considering? Every other Monday from 7-10 pacific time is the best I could do.

I'm an East Coast RPGer who hasn't played in several years and only played face to face but has played a multiple number of systems (D&D, Whitewolf, Cyberpunk, Gurps, Rifts, etc). DF has me interested in playing again but don't have the ol' group to play with. If someone is willing to take pity on me, I would love to give it a spin.
