I have Jim's tentative schedule for NYCC!  This is subject to change, of course.  I'll let you know if that happens.  I find it a little surprising that he seems to be scheduled for only one panel, so who knows?

FRIDAY:
7:30pm - 9pm - Epic Fantasy Panel in Rm 1A15, with Joe Abercrombie, Peter V. Brett, Jim Butcher, Naomi Novik, and possibly Brandon Sanderson.

SATURDAY:
12pm - 1pm: official Con autograph signing (table A4 in Autograph Alley)
4pm - 6pm: Penguin booth signing (booth 2414)
7pm - 10pm: Fan Dinner

Tweaked, based on new info from Jim!  The Epic Fantasy panel now seems to be an hour and a half, instead of just one hour, and we have confirmed location info for the two signings.

Can't find a map/floorplan of the panel rooms. Anyone have a line on that?

Looks like http://www.javitscenter.com/Floor.aspx should work.

*facepalm* Yes, right where I found it last year. Duh. Thanks for giving my dummietude a crutch. :D

*edit* On second thought, while I see 1A there, I don't see 1A15.

Click on 1A hall, and it brings up a layout, then beside that it has two links for 2 different floor plans, although it looks like 1A15 is the same on both.  Dimensions for the room look like it's relatively small.

Awesome, more fail on my part - usually, I'm the one who says to look a little more closely. :D

*boggles*  1A15 is TINY.  Occupancy of 100?  Better line up early.

I'm gonna put it down to terrible planning and not knowing the kind of following some of the authors have.  I could be wrong, but that's what I choose to believe.  I also think the same for the fact that it's at the same time as the LOTR concert, and a lot of people will have bought their tickets before the schedule was done.

This is what happens when my net goes down and I don't get my messages ~laughs~

Thanks all for replying, but I was talking about wanting to go to the Con. I'm just over in Ohio, but since I have no one to go with me I am leery about being in New York by myself. The boyfriend got called into work for the weekend. ~makes a face~ Blargh.

Is Jim going to be around before the Fantasy Panel?  I am planning to go on Friday, but not the whole day... Do you know if he is going to be wandering around etc?

Scrolling through the updated autograph chart--Looks like Jim's table has been changed to 11.

And just saw, Cary Elwes is supposed to be there.

And Seanan McGuire.  If you haven't read her books, you should.  Though I'm sad the zombie panel she's on is at the same time as the dinner.
