Remember, folks, the con doors don't officially open on Friday until 1 PM. There's no Friday morning at the con.

I have Jim's tentative schedule for NYCC!  This is subject to change, of course.  I'll let you know if that happens.  I find it a little surprising that he seems to be scheduled for only one panel, so who knows?

FRIDAY:
7:30pm - 9pm - Epic Fantasy Panel in Rm 1A15, with Joe Abercrombie, Peter V. Brett, Jim Butcher, Naomi Novik, and possibly Brandon Sanderson.

SATURDAY:
12pm - 1pm: official Con autograph signing (table A4 in Autograph Alley)
4pm - 6pm: Penguin booth signing (booth 2414)
7pm - 10pm: Fan Dinner

You said Chris is going to be there as well?  Does he have a set schedule?

I'm assuming he'll be there.  We haven't spoken.  In previous years, he signed alongside Jim.  I'll email him and ask if that's going to be the case again.

Huh. Now I HAVE to get a beat-up old leather pouch (so it'll fit with the costume's tone) just so I can schlep around the stuff for Chris to sign. Because I don't give a flying rat's tochis how much his cover art does or doesn't have anything to do with the text; it's gorgeous work and captures the spirit beautifully.

Yeah, I have the poster that came with the boxed set of books 1-3.  I wants it signed. :D  Pity GS isn't out—that's my favorite cover yet.

Dresden.  Mistborn.  Toby Daye.  It seems Chris is doing the cover art for all my favourite series lately. :D

Why not email him and ask him if he'll sell you a poster of it?  He sells poster prints for $30, and I don't see why GS shouldn't be included.  He gave me several prints a couple years back, when his Dresden calendar sold out--they're absolutely gorgeous.

THAT IS GENIUS.  You are now than the more than a little bit awesome you already were.  Yeah, I'll do that.  Not to mention that I send him an email full of fansquee when the cover was released.

Hehe..I've actually picked up books because I've recognized his artwork on the cover.

Yay...panel schedule should be up either sometime tonight, and definitely no later than tomorrow.  And are the media guests usually such an eclectic group?
