Oh, neither.  That's why it works.  Cue sticks + grey cloaks = ;D

And as a side note, a question for all you NYC area peoples.  How close is Morristown, NJ from NYC?  Close-ish?

NJ Transit doesn't go to the Morristown stop on weekends, so you'll need access to a car.

Huh? NJ Transit disagrees:

http://www.njtransit.com/sf/sf_servlet.srv?hdnPageAction=TripPlannerItineraryFrom

Put in "Travel from Morristown Station", "Travel to New York Penn Station" and "October 9, 2010" and it gives you times and prices. Here's the fare list:

http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/rail/R0040.pdf

And here's the schedule, specified for October 9:

http://www.njtransit.com/sf/sf_servlet.srv?hdnPageAction=TrainSchedulesPrintTo&selOrigin=92_MNE&selDestination=105_BNTN&OriginDescription=Morristown&DestDescription=New+York+Penn+Station&datepicker=10/09/2010

The heck?  This indicated otherwise: http://www.njtransit.com/ti/ti_servlet.srv?hdnPageAction=TicketOfficesTo

Anyway, glad Morristown is an option.  But I just realized that because Kat isn't going to be able to make it to NYCC, my futon is available!  Want to be in Manhattan?  If Fred ends up being able to come, you'll have to share with him, but the futon has slept two before.  Or I can see if one of my coworkers has an air mattress I can borrow.

Long story short, there's space for you if you want it!

That link was for the ticket offices, not for the actual train. Look at this and scroll all the way down for the weekend schedule:

I've said it before, but I'll say it again:  Priscellie is awesome.  I'd take you up on your offer, but I have a friend coming down from Maine for NYCC, so I wouldn't want to inconvenience Fred, if he's able to come.  Unless having 2-3 sleeping on your futon and floor doesn't bother you.

NOTE:  THE TIME FOR THIS EVENT HAS CHANGED!

The party will now be 7-10pm, NOT 8-11.

I still want to know why not. I mean, she'll be there with an adult family member chaperoning, which is good enough in MOST states.

Yeah, but Ellie won't be the only person under the age of 21 in attendance.  I don't want Garrett kicked out, either. :D

I'll adopt him if that's what it takes.

Wait, what? I'm not underage—oh, right.  Drinking age.  Gotcha.  D'oh.

I'll adopt him if that's what it takes.

Could be interesting.

Ah, the venue shifts to Potiential Drinking Customers Only at 11PM then?  Yeah, if they stop serving food at a certain time, I can see them having to shoo the littlies out at that time.
