They don't have all the guests up yet.  They only started putting 'em up recently.  But both Priscellie and his editor said he's going to be there.

Okay, so it looks like I'll be doing the train and hotel thing after all. For the dinner, put me down as attending with one guest. A friend wants to tag along with me.  :)

I am sooooooooo tempted to come up for the con (and food!), especially seeings as I don't have any shows that I'm playing in that time period.

yup, you heard the "but" coming.

BUT.  There's a small issue of transportation and lodging.  Not to mention the cost of it all.  For my meager budget it's a bit... pricey.  DAMMIT.

The ticket fee, fine.  The train bill, fine.

Lodging on the other hand....  damn.  Cause my list of friends who would be willing to go to NYCC with me is rather short, and most of that list doesn't get the amount of scholarship money I do, so most of their hard-earned dough goes toward tuition.  Still, attempting to round up a crew.

Newbie to the forum here. I went to NYCC last year and had a blast! Already registered for this year too and just found out Jim would be attending--Yay!!  ;D

I have a question about this Saturday dinner: Can anyone sign up? Or is it invite only?? *crossing fingers and looking hopeful*

Distance from here to NYC: 8600 miles give or take.
Shortest flight: 21 hours, connecting in Tokyo.
