So I said to my husband, "Honey-my-pie, could we go to Comic Con in October?"  And the man who is Mr. Logical, and never answers without asking a dozen key questions first (salient ones like:  "And where is the money for  this coming from?") replied:

"Yes."

 :o

I am gonna be there!!!!!!!

Did he already know (i.e., before your question) that Jim was going to be there? ;)

I told this to my b/f, and his response was "Well, I guess we'll have to go to the city that weekend."  Though if I got my way, we'd be there anyway for the LOTR thing.  And it's the weekend after my birthday.

That Friday and Saturday night, at Radio City, there will be a showing of Two Towers accompanied by a full symphony playing the music.  They did Fellowship last year, and I wanted to go to that one, but I only found out about it a couple weeks beforehand.

Yup.  Look on the ComicCon site, under the events link.  Or the Radio City website.  And I'm guessing they'll be doing the same with Return of the King next year.

Why would they do that during Comic Con, when everyone has other geeky stuff to do in the evenings?  Aaaaaargh, WANT.

My b/f's guess is that it's cause that's the weekend Radio City had free.  My guess is that they're going after the geeks like me who don't generally go to the evening stuff like costume contests and things.  Though I dunno what NYCC has.
