I am noticing a distinct dearth of official appearances for our area...

Are there even fewer signing appearances than Turn Coat?

I know Bookie will be crushed that there is no Chicago.  Anyone have any ideas on why he is doing the launch in Houston?

I thought it looked like fewer, too.  I kept hoping a couple more would get tacked onto the end.  :D

Yup, there are fewer signings this year.  My guess is that the double whammy of travel being exhausting for Jim and Penguin tightening its belt conspired to form a more conservative number of appearances.

Because Houston is just cool like that ;)

From TX to WA to OR to CA in four days?  That looks darn exhausting to me!  Poor Jim.

Maybe he should stop to rest for a few days in San Francisco....

I see that he will be at Dragon Con.  Will he attend any of the role playing that most people forget happen when they are so busy partying.  If he will sit at a table or two who do I have to kill to sit at a table with him.

Any chance of there being a trip over the pond one day? Somewhere like, say... France? ^^

Damn, I can't afford to stay in Houston and the only "family" I have there is my sister's husband's dad and I met him once at their wedding. That's not going to happen.

Oh well, I enjoyed the time I got to spend with Mr. Butcher at ConDFW last year. (Despite the fact that I probably gave several board members and Mr. Butcher strep throat...)

I hope a few kind souls video Jim on this tour  ;D

I got to see him last time in KY but I still went to Youtube and watched every video. I saw a lot of the same questions asked
'BUT' in every video we got another scrap of info by clever fans asking the right questions that see stuff the rest of us (or just myself) missed

and lets face it this time will have a lot of stuff with Changes/Side Jobs/Codex ending/another 10+ Dresden books and a new series I think...,WHEW!!! talk job job security!!!

Dragon Con still a definate possible maybe lol  :-\
