PC running Windows 7 on this comp

Doesn't Windows 7 come with a video editor?  A quick googling reveals a product called "Windows Live Movie Maker" that I'm guessing comes standard with new machines.

Not standard it's part of the free Windows Live Suite has all sorts of junk in it, but you have to download it from Microsoft Updates as I recall. I picked and chose the components to install sadly that wasn't one of them.To be more clear I chose not to install it but it was one of the options. I'd use the Macbook for video editing if I ever did any.

I dunno, I don't put much on my laptop, it's pretty much designated for writing and schoolwork.

I'm sure it's not hard to do it, I just need to find something to do it and learn how. Once I finish my Alera Fic, it's going to be my first prority.

Okay, free video editing software that can do this. Anyone have any recommendations?

Try googling "best free video editor" from the past year.  I'm getting a lot of promising results.
