Fanfic sharing...
« on: June 01, 2006, 11:41:24 PM »
Me and a good friend are collaborating on a Dresden Files fanfic. It was started mostly as a way to just have some fun, but I think we're onto something interesting.

If we wanted to share it with the boards, where - if anywhere - would be the ideal place to post it?

Iago addressed this in another topic:
http://www.jim-butcher.com/bb/index.php/topic,66.0.html.

So you can't post it here on the boards, since Jim might see it.

You could always try http://www.fanfiction.net.
It's free to register and you can post there. Actually, I think there's already a Dresden section there last time I checked.
Don't forget your disclaimer.

Somewhere other than here.

Let me also add that not only should you do it elsewhere, but that you should strenuously avoid linking to it in any way from here. That means in your .sig, in a message: basically, don't do it here, don't mention it here, don't allude to it here.

Thanks.
