Blackwolf - I'm hangin' in there - keeping busy, catching up with family and old friends, gradually getting my house organized & sorted, figuring out what to do with a lot of Bob's stuff, making paper, weaving some baskets, reading a lot, savoring the good memories, returning to the JB Forum....  Doing okay most of the time.  Thanks for asking.  Hugs.

Shecky - MEGAHUGS back atcha!

Eagerly awaiting the new book!

Hi I've mentioned this elsewhere but Amazon UK have the Hardback edition of FLF listed as unavailable.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/First-Lords-Fury-Codex-Alera/dp/044101769X/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1255533471&sr=8-2

Is there something wrong with the UK publisher? I don't want to have to buy the paperback edition as I'd like to complete my hadcover set, although I usually also buy the ebook version. Does anyone have any news on this please?

Does "unavailable" in the Amazon UK context simply mean "it hasn't been released yet"?

It looks like Amazon UK doesn't seem to know the book's not been released yet.  It has Changes listed for preorder and that it hasn't been released.  I've seen in the past that when they don't seem to know what they're doing, they put that not available/not in stock message.

I was just looking at this on Amazon; is that price correct?  $9.00 for either the hardback or Kindle version?

Yes. Grab it while the price wars are still going on.

Preordered it for my Kindle.  Will buy the hardback when it's released from Borders.

First Lord's Fury, sixth and final novel of the Codex Alera, hits stores November 24th!

Why does this page http://www.jim-butcher.com/books/alera/ now say December 2009? I've been looking around for a bit and haven't found any other reference to December.

Probably a leftover from when it was thought FLF would be released in December.

I don't see for order or a release date yet for the audio book version?  Did I miss something?

November 25th, the day after the hardcover comes out.  You can pre-order it from Amazon via the Jim-Butcher.com store here!

I also have word that Dog-Eared Books is definitely doing a virtual signing for FLF!  They should have the preorder page up within the next few days.  I'll link to it when it's available.

It has to be a mistake.  Nice to imagine, though!

I'm not so sure, that's the British edition, and with the last release, European readers got their copies at least a couple of weeks before it hit the shelves here in the USA.
