Darn it. I've had the CAPTCHA stuff in place to try to shut these dudes out, but they've apparently gotten more inventive lately. I'll do what I can to figure out what mods I can install to better address this, but this installation is pretty persnickety when it comes to handling new installations of modules (based on the fact that I have to manually install the spoiler tag whenever a software update blows it away), and my time's tight right now.

Any SMF experts wanna point me at the right modules to install to combat this stuff?
From what I can tell, the sole purpose of all these bogus user registrations is to upload links to spam sites in the personal webpage field. If there's a way to just eliminate that field from the user registration process, it might shut off the registration via spambot.
