He was so kind to answer two of my questions.  The first about collaborating with his wife.  "No, because we want to stay married."  :)

The second about the bet that started the Codex Alera series.  It's such a great story, and he really went into detail about it.  He could have just gave a simple answer.  But instead he made sure that everyone there knew the story behind it.

I was sitting in the second row of seats on the same side of the room as you were sitting on. I really enjoyed his answer to your question about the bet that started the Alera series. I had not heard about that before and was very amused by it.

Pokemon and a Lost Legion... naw, that will never work. oops  :D

I was hoping that he would give the whole story, because I figured that there were quite a few people that weren't familiar with the story.

I didn't know about that.  I was wondering about the pokemon references though in the beginning.  I was sitting in the 2nd row on the other side I believe.  :)  It was a cool story

Question: Is anyone that live in the Ohio/Kentucky/Indianna area going to the Independance, MO signing?

I am considering going and wondered if anyone would like to carpool and split the costs.

I was on the left side. I kinda asked a bunch of stupid questions, lolz, but it's hard formulating good questions on the spot...
