Why would anyone even want to pretend to be from Baltimore?  ;D

Heh, maybe at some point when Jim is looking to relax in a more anachronistic setting, we can all try to convince him that he needs to go to Pennsic.

Once again I agree! I only live an hour's drive from there and merchant at that event each year.

Viking Home Companion CD's!  LOL That sounds awesome.

Now for the potentially cringe worthy part.  Do you know Ashton?  He had a booth there called Nyghtcraft Leather....

It doesn't ring a bell. But I don't get a lot of time to wander out. I am pretty much stuck at my tables. I share space in the Pillaged Village, but I am a one man shop and can't afford to hire anyone to work my tables with me. Also I have only been doing Pennsic for the last 2 years. Before that I lived too far away.

Aww that's too bad.  You need to get out from behind the table more!  Find a friend to watch for a few hours and then buy them lunch.

I get to run around a little, but you are right. I spend most of my time at the table or performing my Viking Home Companion Stories. One show a day in front of my booth. And then there are the free samples I tell when I run into someone who has never heard the stories before. I have a lot of fun with those. I am hoping to release a Viking Home Companion Christmas album this year. Mostly it depends on if I can mangle enough Christmas carols and have the money to get into the studio before Pennsic. I already have several on the other CDs.

Deck the Halls with Skulls of Saxons
Three Viking ships came sailing in
I'm Beginning to see a lot of Carnage
God Save us from the Vikings

I wrote two new ones recently
I'm Going Viking For Christmas
Here the Vikings Come Again

I need to write about 5 to 7 more to have a good sized album I think. And I am working on two new stories, Berzerks Are Not Stupid, and The All Scandinavia Berzerker Games (Berzerk Olympics)

I'd fly in from Houston if Jim appears as it seems like an interesting con.  However, seems unlikely since he has an appearance scheduled the next month.

Plus, Jim generally schedules appearances a year or two in advance. :D

Not happening until September 11, 12 and 13th of this year so he still might be able to come.  I checked the calendar and it looks like nothing else is there.

Viking Home Companion CD's!  LOL That sounds awesome.

They're good stuff. I haven't finished listening to them yet, but that's only because I found out it's pointless to try to listen to them while doing something else - the work suffers. :D
