Author Resources
« on: June 01, 2006, 05:38:25 PM »
Just wanted to mention something I saw at a bookstore that might be useful for authors in crafting "magical theories" or spellwork.

Its called "The Elemental Book of 5,000 spells"

You can find it on Amazon easy. Looks like fun.

Enjoy

holly lisle has a lot of interesting advice and etc in a guide on her website. called 'mugging the muse' or something like that.  I'm not trying to become a writer but I found it to be an interesting and sometimes funny insight in to writing.

The Seventh Sanctum is awesome
I could spend all day there perfecting my moves:

Knee Swing of the Monsters
Priest Hot Smash
Tooth of Firey Boulders
Nineteen Badgers Noose of Penetrating Carnages

I have definatly got to use these

The only resources I use are other books I like - they help me with dialouge and other things (I don't copy them they just give me an idea of what I want to do and how to get it across)
